The “Where’s Ashton?” contest is organized by the Stephanie Ashton for Regional Councillor, Ward 3 campaign.

1. Contest Period

This week’s contest begins on October 12, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 18, 2026.

Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible for this week’s draw.

2. How to Enter

Find the 20-foot blue “Where’s Ashton?” inflatable at its location in Ajax.

Take a photo of yourself with the inflatable and submit the photo by either:

No purchase, donation or payment of any kind is required to enter.

Limit of one entry per person per weekly contest.

3. Eligibility

The contest is open to residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The candidate, members of the candidate's immediate household and members of the campaign team directly involved in administering the contest are not eligible to win.

4. Prize

There is one prize available for this week's contest:

One $100 gift card to The Portly Piper in Ajax, Ontario.

Approximate retail value: $100 CAD.

The prize has no cash alternative and cannot be substituted by the winner.

5. Winner Selection

Following the close of the contest, one eligible entry will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the contest period.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The selected entrant will be contacted using the telephone number or email address used to submit the entry.

Before being declared the winner and receiving the prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question.

If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond within 48 hours, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, another eligible entrant may be selected at random.

6. Photo Permission

Submitting a photo constitutes an entry into the contest. Submission of a photo does not automatically give the campaign permission to publish the photo.

If the campaign would like to share an entrant's photograph on social media, the campaign will obtain permission from the entrant before doing so.

7. Personal Information

Telephone numbers, email addresses and other personal information submitted for the purpose of entering the contest will be used to administer the contest and contact the selected entrant.

Entering this contest does not constitute consent to receive campaign communications unrelated to the contest.

8. General Conditions

The campaign reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, inappropriate, incomplete or otherwise do not comply with these rules.

The campaign may modify, suspend or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the contest from being conducted as intended, subject to applicable law.

Participation in the contest is subject to these Official Rules and applicable Canadian and Ontario laws.
